Media Ignores Bilderberg, but Let's Follow Shatner
Many elite world leaders belong to a group called "Bilderberg," yet when they had their annual meeting outside Washington, DC, this past weekend, not one Big Media source covered their agenda. A friend covered this Cabal with a YouTube video, and here's Alex Jones bullhorning the conspirators. One Big Media hack begged to differ about lack of media coverage (and today a neighboorhood flier did a story). With Elite disparagement of our Rights, such noncoverage by the Media just removes one more check on their Lust for Power, a lust which stems, according to this book review, on man's innate desire for power over others. (Did we become so avaricious by evolution, or intelligent design?) Anyhoo, hurting consolidationist plans, the Irish voted down the new EU treaty.
One agenda item at Bilderberg was a discussion of universal chipping. This threat and others were discussed at ACLU's panel on loss of privacy since 9/11, whose commission has received a fresh critique from David Ray Griffen, a stern condemnation from an Arizona politician, and a petition in Canada's parliament for a new investigation. Another elite control mechanism occurs with checkpoints, like the ones in DC to control crime. If DC wants security, repeal the gun ban. Checkpoints, including those run by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), as Cato's Jim Harper says, are about control, not security. After June 21, fliers will have to have ID. And if our grassroots doesn't stop Congress, they're about to give Spooks more powers to spy on us. But the Supreme Court just limited the Power to deny judicial rights to political prisoners they call enemy combatants. Even businesses, not just individuals, are losing Rights. One bill, to save the housing crisis, would register mortgage brokers' fingerprints in a national database.
A more expansive checkpoint lies in the theory of border control; despite fears of immigrants, however, open borders are really in our long-term interest. Instead we get marginal interferences in movement around earth, this time penalizing spouses. Why support Big Government when it comes to Immigrants? And when we penalize trade with developing countries, we jeopardize their lives, resulting in tragedies like this Sudanese plane crash. The Bush Administration's crimes against humanity are so pervasive, that Congressman Kucinich has filed for Impeachment, but Judiciary Chairman Conyers resists.
One agenda item for Elites that hasn't changed in centuries is the importance of dumbing the populace via centralized government education. So when School Choice or Charter School programs succeed, both must be dismantled, according to the Elites. But "we're doing it for the children," claims DC Delegate Norton, in threatening the Choice program. Even the Washington (com)Post calls the new Charter School barriers a "mean-spirited" policy. Folks who care about education innovation need to be at AERO's education conference June 26 in New York.
The nomination of Obama and McCain have got the Elite happy, since there's no difference between Democrats and Republicans. Someone whom the Elite's agenda will preclude from support is Libertarian Presidential candidate Bob Barr. Another candidate who won't get Elite support is Amit Singh, who's running in today's Virginia GOP primary, to earn the right to take on Jim Moran this November. Amit is a Ron Paul Republican, and thus is someone who wants small government not just domestically, but also overseas when it comes to Empire (update: Singh lost). Activists still have an opportunity at the GOP Convention, to participate in Ron Paul's "breakout" event. While Ron Paul's Campaign is over, more people than ever can now join his Campaign for Liberty.
Opposition to Elites' Empire goes back a long time. World War Two now even is losing its invicibility in terms of support (book author Buchanan responds to the rabid criticism). And now our Empire wants 58 more military bases in Iraq. These empires are possible only if the Gang in charge can raise more money than afforded via taxation and loans - that extra funding comes from central banking, as Fed Chairman Bernake confessed and as Rockwell explained at this past weekend's Future of Freedom Conference (speeches by Ron Paul and Justin Ramaindo were well received too). Instead of decentralizing the banking system, the Intl Monetary Fund (IMF), going in the opposite direction, wants a global currency; and some at the Fed itself want a global financial regulatory framework. To learn how to fix the economy and make a profit, read The Politically Incorrect Guide to Capitalism (or listen to this impressive interview with the author.) And all Fed-funded Imperial attacks - and torture of terrorist suspects - could come back to haunt the US with more catrastrophic blowback, according to this FBI agent. To avoid more terrorism against us, this group is trying to stop our pending Iran Invasion.
While I can be convinced that some government condemnation of private property can be justified, as long as 5th Amendment compensation is paid to the owner, such seizures nowadays go often to politically-connected land developers. So, Congress may be right to punish this confiscating behavior. Speaking of theft, it turns out that those polygomous Texas kids - stolen by Texas bureauthugs in a disgusting raid - weren't so abused after all - surprised?
The Elite certainly are profiting from the inflation, including higher oil prices. Is Congressman Feeney right with these Top Ten Changes for Affordable Energy? Obama's plan, on the other hand, is a global oil profits tax - typical. There's even evidence that lots of oil remains untapped - unleashing more exploration could reduce gas prices. For the truth on high oil prices and Recession, always read Ron Paul. The globalists would like to cap and trade carbon emissions to stop "global warming," but perhaps we should instead protect the economy and learn to adapt? Legalizing hemp could ease oil demand and address global warming. The globe's warming is marginal and involves more than carbon pollution. Punishing polluters, though, remains important, regardless of the veracity of global warming. How we stop pollution, then, is the real debate: Statists wants coercive solutions, libertarians have better ideas based on property rights, so more land is sustainably owned, and restitution in judicial proceedings - to "make polluters pay" for their encroachment on property.
Natural remedies like hemp are a big threat to Big Businesses like pharmaceutical companies. Big Pharma has once again gotten Sens. Kennedy and Durbin, and Reps Dingell and Waxman - the enemies of natural healing in Congress every year, according to the following link - to introduce legislation that would jeopardize the supply of supplements. On the other hand, consumers have good news with a little more acknowledgement of the dangers of mercury in dental fillings, but grassroots in New York is needed to water down its vaccine mandate. Charlie Sheen's refusal to vaccinate his kids will educate a portion of the audience to wake up about the lack of safety of so much of what Big Pharma is pushing. Grassroots also is needed to protect the weight loss supplement from Big Pharma attack. And before a Trilateral agreement with Canada brings nutrient regulation to the US, Canada's threat must be smothered. Natural healing isn't the only thing under attack in Canada, as this publisher is learning in a persecution of THOUGHT crime. Staying outside our borders, let's hope Ireland strikes back at consolidation by rejecting the EU Treaty, which, apparently, would allow cruel attacks on civil dissidents.
It will be nice to free the world of the Elite's interference, so we can pursue life's opportunities in a way as full as William Shatner appears to do (or as Jim Fedako does with his camping around the continent, despite government obstacles). Another expansive opportunity for a wider array of communication lies in FM's expansion, but the Internet's promise may be snuffed out. (Check out this amazing new internet offering - radio from Pandora's genome project). At Pandora you start stations based on your favorite groups, such as, for me, Rush, whose libertarian drummer has this awesome website.
And in a more open world, we could encourage studies in more exotic countries, like at this libertarian university in, of all places, Guatemala. And this week brings the annual PorcFest in New Hampshire, for those wanting to gain majority power in a state and secede from the Union. Or we can watch Europe's soccer championship. Or go to the movies to watch the new Indiana Jones flick, which includes stuff about all these ancient, mysterious crystal skulls. Maybe Shatner's so adventurous because he knows the world will end in 2012? (If that info doesn't freak you out, perhaps you're ready for more ancient mysteries! Beware though, of persecution if you get too involved against the Elite). By 2012 perhaps this libertarian candidate, appearing Tuesday night on the Letterman show (here's a review of the interview), will have gotten Congress to disclose what the government knows about Captain Kirk's ET friends. In a few years any of us will be able to meet such friends in private space stations; ours isn't our grandfather's space program anymore.
